having spent many hours now at home with my cats, this is my analysis of how they spend their day:
70% sleeping
10% grooming themselves
15% staring at eachother or out the window, or just out into space (fellow cat owners will recognized that blank, unfocused look)
2% using the litter box or eating
1% frisking about
2% wanting to go in or out the door.
over all, not such a bad life style.

OMG--Anne, this post made me giggle....and I sure needed a giggle. You have now inspired me to observe my dachshunds a little more closely. Your kitty cats sound very charrrming!
